I know this look is getting tiresome BUT clients want them. I showed one of my better sports clients some HDR samples and they asked me to apply the process to one of the photos I took of their son. The image below is the one they choose for a 24′ x 36″ print

I’ve Been trying out a new process that has been the rage in photography. I don’t know the official “name” but some refer to as the “Dave Hill look” ( http://www.davehillphoto.com/ ) It’s sort of a HDR photo using only one image.
I’m more of a purest when it comes to retouching photos. I usually never go beyond basic curves and levels but I must admit that I love this look and I always wanted to learn how it’s done. If anyone is interested in this process Scott Kelby has a blog entry on it:
